Volvo has unveiled its EX90 all-electric, three-row SUV in Stockholm, Sweden, representing the future of the brand with a focus on sustainability, safety and technology-driven design. The EX90 will kick off with a twin-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrain good for a heaping 496 horsepower and 671 pound-feet of torque. Its 111-kilowatt-hour battery will provide up to 300 miles from a full charge. It features a Google-powered user experience, lidar-equipped safety suite and recycled materials throughout the vehicle. It is available for preorder, with production taking place in South Carolina and deliveries beginning in 2024. The EX90 the next step toward Volvo going all-electric by 2030.
